JEE Main 2020 Examination Pattern Changed

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE (Main)-2020 Examination twice for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. in the academic year (2020-2021).

The First JEE(Main)-2020 will be conducted in January 2020 between 6th January (Monday) and 11th January (Saturday) 2020 and the Second JEE(Main)-2020 will be conducted between 3rd April (Friday) and 9th April (Thursday) 2020.

This year, NTA has changed the Examination Pattern of JEE Main.

Total no is questions has been decreased & type of questions has been changed to some extent. Lets see what are changes in New Pattern-

Total questions 90 (30 in each subject).	Total questions 75 (25 in each subject).
All 30 questions of each subject was of Objective type.	Out of 25 questions(in each subject) 20 questions are Objective type & Rest 5 are Numerical type questions(which have answer in Numerical value b/w 0-9)
Each question had Negative marking.	Only 20 objective questions have Negative marking(+4 , -1 marking scheme), 5 Numerical questions does not have Negative Marking.
Total Marks was 360.	Total Marks is 300.
