Lovely Professional University (LPU) was established in 2005 at Jalandhar, Punjab. This private University has over 20 schools that offer various diploma, UG, PG and doctoral courses in several stream, such as Engineering, Management, Science, Pharmacy, Arts, Law and more. LPU Courses
LPU currently offers over 300 degree and diploma programmes to aspirants at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. LPU Placements
With an active placement cell, Lovely
Professional University offers placements under various disciplines such as
Engineering, Management, Design, and Hotel Management. LPU also introduced
Placement Enhance Program (PEP) classes for its students to provide training
regarding aptitude, reasoning, soft skills and interview skills to make them
industry-ready and also offers free preparation classes for government
exams.
During the recent recruitment drive,
over 2,500 offers were made by Fortune-500 companies such as CTS, Amazon,
IBM, Verizon, Xerox, and HP. A few more highlights LPU placements drive (2020)
are listed below:

University recorded 100% placements for most of its courses.

More than 2,000 students were offered
international packages in countries such as USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Top recruiters were Hewlett Packard, Amazon, Abbott, IBM, Cognizant
Technology Solutions, Google, and Microsoft.

Microsoft offered the highest salary of Rs 42 lakh which was bagged by a
final year BTech CSE student.

LPU Application Fees
Online Mode
- Cost
of the Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys)
and ₹500 (for Girls).
- Cost
of the Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys) and
₹1000 (for Girls).
- For
online application, the Applicant should have an Online Banking facility
through Net banking/ Debit card/ Credit card.
Offline Mode
Applicant
may obtain LPUNEST Kit from University Campus or any other prescribed
place by paying cash.
- Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys) and ₹1000 (for Girls).

The Scholarships in LPU are present in a wide range. Scholarships are given to students who perform well in various sectors. Below are the following criteria in which scholarships are given:
- Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification.
- Certain National Level Tests: LPU offers Scholarships for various programs on the basis of Performance/ Rank in various National Level Entrance Tests.
- LPUNEST: Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPUNEST. There are three brackets:

- LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off
- LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off
