NTSE 2019: The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level examination cum scholarship program. The scholarship program is conducted by NCERT and the students who are studying in class X are eligible for NTSE 2019 examination and selection procedure.

Eligibility: As per the eligibility criteria of NTSE 2019, all the students who are studying in X standard are eligible to apply for this scholarship program. A student from any state of the country can register for this examination and scholarship scheme. Whether a student is from a government or a private school, he/she is eligible.

Pattern/ Syllabus: The National Talent Search Examination is conducted for the students studying in the Class X. The examination consists of two tests: 1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) 2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

NTSE Mental Ability Test (MAT) Syllabus
This test is given to judge the power of reasoning, to evaluate and discriminate the ability of thinking, judging and visualizing etc. A variety of questions, for example - analogies, classification, series, pattern perception, hidden figures, coding decoding, block assembly, problem solving, etc. are used for this purpose.

NTSE Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Syllabus (Maths, Science & Social Science)
This Section Is Conducted To Judge That How Much Of Text-Book Knowledge You Have Gained. As India Doesn't Has Any Single Unified Board System, NCERT Has Not Prescribed Any Particular Syllabus For The State Level Examination Or For National Level Examination. You Can Expect Questions That Are Asked At The National Level (Stage-I) According To The Standard Of Classes IX And X Level.

Question Paper: The Medium Of Test Is English And Regional Languages And It Comprised Of 200 Question. The Students Have To Select And Mark One Right Answer From The Given Options. Each Right Answer Carries One Point Each, Thus Making The Total Score Of The Candidate In A Test Is Equal To The Number Of Questions Answered Correctly.

Note :
1. There will be No Negative Marking in NTSE 1st stage exam
2. The Qualifying Marks - 32% for SC/ST/PWD & 40% for Other Categories.

NTSE Scholarship Pattern :
  • For Intermediate students (11th and 12th) – Rs. 1250 per Month.
  • For Under Graduation & Post Graduation Students – Rs. 2000 per Month.
  • For Ph.D. students – As per UGC Norms

JEE Main 2020

JEE Main 2020 Exam Dates has been released.
Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is a national level examination. This exam is organized to provide admission in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institution. It is conducted in two parts i.e. paper 1 for B. E./B. Tech. and paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning. This exam will be conducted through both modes (computer based and pen & paper based mode).

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.
JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12thclass examination.
B.E/B.TECH   :    Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
B.ARCH.         :     Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics.  
The above mentioned policy could also be adopted by other Technical Institutions participating in counselling through JoSAA/CSAB. In case a State opts to admit students in the engineering Colleges affiliated to State Universities, the State may prepare separate rank list based on criteria decided by them.
